Written by Maureen Bennie
Friday, 27 August 2010
We just got back from a week long vacation on Vancouver Island, BC. We drove to Courtenay which took 2 days each way. Written by Maureen Bennie
Sunday, 25 July 2010

Sleep Baby, Sleep
Written by Maureen Bennie
Friday, 09 July 2010
Parents at one time or another struggle with a child who has difficulty falling asleep turning bedtime into a stressful time of the day. Written by Maureen Bennie
Saturday, 12 June 2010
Most young families look forward to summertime - a holiday and a break from the old routines. For those who have young children with autism, going on a vacation may be simply out of the question because of the disruption to routines, travelling to a strange place, or visiting with relatives the child is unfamiliar with. Throw in a special diet into the mix and travelling becomes even more difficult. You have to avoid restaurants and take your own food everywhere.

Desperately Needed: Respite
Written by Maureen Bennie
Thursday, 27 May 2010
Parents of special needs children or adults need respite care to get a much-needed break from the stresses of their parenting situation.
