FAAAS Inc. (Families of Adults Afflicted with Asperger Syndrome)
Offers support to the family members of adult individuals afflicted with Asperger's Syndrome. Their goal is to educate the public to the existence of Asperger's Syndrome in the ADULT population and to bring awareness of this neurological disorder and its ramifications on the "whole" family to the medical communities who are directly or indirectly involved.
The Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership (GRASP)
What makes GRASP unique, other than its proven four year-old support group network, its educational outreach, and its use as an informational clearinghouse on issues relating to the autism spectrum, are the stipulations GRASP must adhere to in accordance with our bylaws — that the Executive Director, 100% of the Advisory Board, and 50% of the Board of Directors of GRASP must be diagnosed with either Autism, Asperger Syndrome, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder.
The Hawkins Institute
Hawkins Institute was founded in 1995 by Gail Hawkins to offer a service that helps people with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and more able autism acquire vocational skills and find meaningful work.
